From Keren’s inspirational graduation project. The Department of Industrial Design, Shenkar 2024. Keren chose to return to handcrafting, experimenting with materials and colors to create from a place of dynamism and presence. The ultimate result is a multi-functional furniture piece that fosters freedom, flexibility and collaboration in the creative process.
The unit consists of two parts, allowing a range of personal interpretations and applications. Users are encouraged to explore new compositions and interpret the product through a scale model. The project focuses on the dynamics of modern life, while encouraging creativity and unconventional applications. Keren presently works as an independent industrial designer and is employed by Keter Plastic, working under the “Curver” brand.
