Shankar graduated with a Bachelor of Textile design

Specializing in knitting. As a scion for a well-known furry family in Israel, the field of design in general and textiles in particular is a large part of her world and knitting has been a way of expression for her. The project introduces a series of knitted containers using a manual knitting machine, with which Maya developed a new 3D object knitting technique that allows the inner and outer layers of objects to be knitted together in one action and seamlessly.
