Ar. Vered Blatman Cohen

In 1989, I actively participated in transforming the Florentin neighborhood into a residential area for young people and a vibrant hub for artists. This included the establishment of the Art and Design Center at 12 Vital Street. As a resident of the area, I created one of the first loft apartments in the neighborhood. The studio, founded in 1991, specializes primarily in high-quality private construction for residential and office spaces.

Starting in 1994 and for about a decade, I was a faculty member at WIZO College in Haifa, teaching in the Architecture Department.My extensive experience in the field has taught me that architecture is, in essence, about the relationship between space and people. Architecture combines imagination and creativity while addressing professional demands, requiring a diverse set of skills.

To me, private construction embodies both the art of design and a love for people. The design and planning of the building and its spaces result from the connection between the site conditions and the client’s lifestyle: their way of life, needs, and, of course, financial capabilities. The client’s involvement in the planning process is tailored to their needs and transformed into a “home,” is what makes a project successful. My main motto is total design: from positioning the structure on the site and its integration into the surroundings to involvement in all planning and construction processes, with meticulous attention to interior details.
